In 2021, I participated in The Enterprise Programme facilitated by The Prince’s Trust. Recognising the burgeoning success of my art and the need for a business acumen to fully embrace my role as an artist, I found myself at a crossroads. Unsure of where to begin, The Prince’s Trust emerged as a guiding force, providing invaluable assistance.

Through a comprehensive 2-week course featuring a blend of online workshops, self-directed learning activities, and personalised one-to-one support, I acquired fundamental business knowledge and honed essential entrepreneurial skills. This training delved into vital aspects such as marketing, seeking, finance, and business planning, shedding light on the multifaceted nature of being an artist beyond the creative realm.

Post-course, I seized the opportunity to apply for a business mentor, and I am grateful to be working with David Taylor, with whom I have monthly check-ins. This ongoing support ensures that I remain on track, consistently meeting and surpassing my goals. The guidance provided by The Prince’s Trust has been instrumental in navigating the business side of my artistic journey, allowing me to thrive and grow in both creativity and entrepreneurship.
